Venom: The Last Dance” Trailer Unveils Tom Hardy’s Epic Sacrifice in Triumphant Finale
Sony Pictures has unveiled the final trailer for “Venom: The Last Dance.”
Tom Hardy assumes his former role of Eddie Brock who is the ‘Spider-man’ comic symbiote Venom in the last part of the trilogy.
The official description reveals that Eddie is a fugitive on the run with no allies apart from their common enemies. As the net tightens around them, they are faced to make a heart-rending decision that will determine the outcome of their last battle.
The cast of the film also includes Chiwetel Ejiofor, Juno Temple, Rhys Ifans, Peggy Lu, Alanna Ubach, and Stephen Graham.
Kelly Marcel, the writer and producer behind the first two ‘Venom’ movies, turns on ‘The Last Dance’ as a director working off a script she authored herself.
Marcel together with Tom Hardy worked on the idea of ‘Venom 3’ film production together with Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach, Amy Pascal and Hutch Parker. Executive producer is Joe Caracciolo Jr.
Early October was also launch month for two of Tom Hardy’s comic book successes, in 2018 and in 2021, respectively.
Directed by Ruben Fleischer, it took in $856 million worldwide. “Let There Be Carnage,” the sequel, directed by Andy Serkis, took in $502 million worldwide during a pandemic.
“Venom Trailer” hits theaters Oct. 25
In the post-credits scene of “Let There Be Carnage,” Eddie Brock is teleported into the MCU, where he spots Tom Holland’s Peter Parker on a news broadcast. This moment leads into the post-credits scene of 2021’s “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” where Eddie is sent back to his own universe but leaves behind a fragment of the symbiote.
*”Let There Be Carnage”* is a 2021 superhero movie featuring Venom from Marvel Comics. It’s the sequel to *Venom* (2018) and the second film in Sony’s Spider-Man Universe. Directed by Andy Serkis and written by Kelly Marcel, the film stars Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock and Venom, with Michelle Williams, Naomie Harris, Reid Scott, Stephen Graham, and Woody Harrelson. The story follows Eddie and Venom as they face off against serial killer Cletus Kasady (Harrelson), who becomes the host for Carnage, an offshoot of Venom.
